Job Title: HR Advisor – Employee Relations – Pinley House (Maternity Cover)
Contract: Fixed term contract – approximately 12 months
Salary: £35k
Location: Coventry

The role

A maternity cover vacancy has arisen for the role of HR Advisor – Employee Relations – Pinley House. The primary purpose of this position is to provide a generalist HR service to the Management, Staff and Manual employees based at the Pinley House site.

The main responsibilities of the role include:

- Act as a subject matter expert on all Employee Relations matters 

- Ensure all E.R. issues are dealt with in line with company policies and procedures 

- Managing disciplinary, capability and grievance issues, chairing meetings, investigations and settlement agreements 

- Provide E.R Advisory support to the business as a whole 

- Advise the business on redundancy and TUPE 

- Management of relocation processes 

- Management of HR reporting  

- Administration and support of Trade Union and Employee forum

Who we look for

Due to the length of the placement, a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a HR role is essential. Candidates will be CIPD qualified, or equivalent, and have a good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Degree educated or appropriate experience is required. 

The successful candidate must have experience in dealing with complex HR issues.  They will be a team player possessing excellent planning and communication skills, as well as being numerate and highly literate.  Able to manage many tasks simultaneously, the individual will be a self-starter able to demonstrate resilience and the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation. Excellent interpersonal skills, together with a high level of integrity, are required due to the nature of the role.

This role is to cover maternity leave for approximately 12 months.
